This site will look much better in a web browser that supports web standards. Click here for more information. Regardless, it is still accessible to any browser or Internet device. It just won't look nearly as pretty. :)

important dates

I added an "important dates" section to the navigation bar on the left. Included are dates for Thanksgiving and Christmas break, as well as the Wall's trip to the Orange Bowl and the MacWorld Expo in San Francisco.

lack of updates

I apologize for the lack of updates recently. Originally, I planned on updating the page every day, but I don't think that's necessary. Well, unless someone out there is THAT interested in my life.

Lately, I've been busy learning Userland's Frontier scripting environment. Once I get an understanding of Frontier, I'll quit using Visual Page. Frontier is very complex, and it'll take a while to get a grasp of.

This weekend is Miami's homecoming weekend, but I have to work during the game. I'm watching the Michigan vs. Michigan State game right now.

Well, that's all for now. Maybe I'll post more later today...

feedback

To everyone who has sent me feedback- thanks! Keep it coming!

I apologize for the misspellings, Dad. I'll try not to let it happen again...

The rest of the site is still under construction, so keep that in mind as you navigate through it.

I'll post more later.

site announcement

Well, I just sent you all an email officially announcing the upgrade of this site. I had some new ideas, so I decided to take a break from my homework (Book 12 of the Aeneid) and play with it some more. I'm listening to a new cd, Buddy Guy and the Saturday Night Live Band, "The Real Deal." It is just incredible. Next time I go to Chicago, I NEED to go to Buddy's club, "Legends."

I'm not looking forward to work tonight. I'll probably end up reading the whole time. I guess now that I think about it, working is actually good for me. It forces me to do my homework!

Last night I was the champion Super Mario Kart player in my corridor. I took 1st place in every race against Brian Fitzharris (a.k.a. Fitz, Fitzy, Fritzy, etc.), my opponent. Before I go to work tonight, I'll probably be playing some more...

Well, that's it for now. I'll probably post more before I go to bed...

site overhaul continues

Since I only had one class today, I spent most of the day working on this site overhaul. It's coming along nicely, as I have the archive page working and an early version of the links page in place.I do need more feedback, so email me your comments!!!

There's tons of stuff online about the DOJ vs. Microsoft case today. Go Janet! Beat Microsoft into the ground!

I have to work tonight, which sucks. Fortunately, my partner for an English project is coming in while I'm working so we can finish a presentation for class tomorrow, which will keep me from dying of boredom.

Anyone who reads this regularly be sure to email me, so I can get an idea of who's coming here.

eekman.com alpha

Well, consider this an alpha version of eekman.com. I have a preliminary version of the navigation bar on the left side, and finally got my welcome graphic working! Do you like it? It took a while to get that finder theme to work, but it turned out pretty well. One thing I am concerned about is how it looks in other browsers. If you are not using Navigator 4.0.31, let me know how it looks. Is everything aligned? I also want comments about the layout, size of the graphics, colors, etc.

I intend to update this little segment of the page daily, if possible, to keep you all informed of what's going on over here. My daily links page will be merged with my normal links page (not in place yet). The daily links will be at the top of the page, with the rest of the links below it. The URL will be: http://www.eekman.com/links/ (broken)

Well, that's all for now. I have to do some Spanish...
