I loved, loved, *loved* "Into Thin Air." As soon as I finished reading it, I couldn't stop telling people about it, and actually starting professing to want to climb Everest myself (a lot of people thought that was an odd reaction to that book :-).
I've never seen the movie, but I haven't heard good things about it. Too bad--it could have made a fantastic film in the right hands. Maybe someone could still do a decent adaptation of "Into the Wild."
I actually own the IMAX on DVD. It's decent, but really short. One nice thing about it is it helps you visualize what Krakauer's talking about when he describes the Khumbu icefall and so forth.

Da Vinci Code - yep, I listened to the unabridged version from Audible.com. It was outstanding, can't wait to read his next one!
