A few days ago I signed up for Audible.com, to make better use of my commute to and from work. So far I'm quite pleased, as it's like having an extra hour and a half to read each day. The iPod/Audible marriage is almost perfect, except for the lack of bookmarking. Right now I'm about 1/4 through Eric Schlosser's latest muckrake, "Reefer Madness: Sex, Drugs, and Cheap Labor in the American Black Market." It's estimated that the black market accounts for up to 10% of America's total economy; the story is fascinating.
